The Second Skin

Three single-use bio-cellulose masks of 15 ml each, each in its own sachet - just what you need for the few days after a treatment, or for three evenings of intensive care.

The Second Skin combines two elements: bio-cellulose, the most premium mask material available today, and a serum formulated for maximum tolerance with bio-identical ingredients.

The material. The mask is made of bio-cellulose - a natural fiber obtained by fermenting 100% coconut water. Each sheet is cultivated over 10-15 days into a mesh of nanofibers that adheres like a second skin. The material actively cools, improves the delivery of ingredients and is 100% biodegradable. Its fibers are thousands of times finer than those of ordinary cloth masks, so it adheres closely, without air pockets, keeping the serum on the skin and cooling it throughout.

The serum. The formula is free from alcohol (ethanol), fragrance, essential oils, floral waters and allergens. The composition is refined and minimalist, and every ingredient has a precise role: to hydrate, soothe and support the repair of the skin barrier. That's why the mask suits reactive skin and the period after treatments, when the skin needs comfort.

The mask is single-use. There are three in the box - just what you need for the few days after a treatment, or for three evenings of intensive care.

• Dehydrated and depleted skin
• Sensitive and reactive skin
• Skin after aesthetic treatments (laser, peels, injectables), on your specialist's recommendation
• Skin irritated by retinoids or exfoliating acids

After cleansing, place the mask on dry skin, smoothing it from the center outwards. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and remove the mask before it dries. Do not rinse. Pat the remaining serum into the skin and continue with a facial massage using The Sculptor.

Use daily for 3 consecutive days after an aesthetic treatment, or whenever your skin needs a quick barrier recovery.

Hyaluronic acid

Draws in and holds water in the surface layers of the skin, smoothing it and making it softer and more elastic to the touch.

Aloe vera

One of the best-studied soothing ingredients. It reduces the feeling of tightness and discomfort and refreshes irritated skin.

NMF complex (sodium PCA, sodium lactate, urea)

The natural moisturizing factor (NMF) is a blend of substances that healthy skin produces itself to retain moisture in the stratum corneum. After treatments and in dry skin, these reserves decrease. The complex replenishes them from the outside.

Osmolytes (fructose, glycine, inositol)

Small molecules that cells use to maintain their water balance under stress: dryness, cold, heat. They help the skin stay resilient and retain moisture for longer.

Niacinamide at a low percentage <0.1%

Vitamin B3 supports the skin barrier. It is used at a low concentration, deliberately chosen for maximum tolerance by the most sensitive skin.

Glycerin

A classic humectant and the second ingredient in the formula. It works together with hyaluronic acid and NMF to hold water in the skin.
